What can I say about myself? My name is Athena Mariah LaRue. I’m artsy-fartsy. I like to make things with my hands. If I lost the ability to use my hands I would us my toes. The will to create is too strong to stop me.

I took Fine Art and Ceramics all 4 years of High school and 3 years in a Jr. College. I then started a family and put most of my aspirations to be a career artist on the back burner. Now that my son is an adult I am able to commit my energy full time into my art. I took a 18 year pause on ceramics and I am very excited to get back into it.
